AMITA Corporation is currently looking for a resource with a background working in Linux for a contract with our public sector client. The ideal candidate will have the following:

- experience with network tools tcpdump or wireshark

- experience writing Kernel Modules or drivers for the Linux kernel (2.6.x)

- experience with the Linux Kernel API

- experience and knowledge of the Linux Kernel's SKB (Socket Buffers) and the memory management of SKB's

- Basic knowledge of ethernet and TCP/IP protocols

- experience with writing drivers or control s/w for devices

Useful but not necessary:

- experience with pcap library,

- Solid design capabilities from the Telecomm world

- experience with the Kernel threading API of a Linux 2.6.x kernel
