Using Yocto
Speaker: Robert P. J. DayRob Woolley and Rob Day will present a talk on Using Yocto for programming ARM devices.
This will be a hands-on demo.
There will be some opportunities to copy what they are doing and try it.
Look on the list, closer to the date, on what to do before the meeting if you want to participate. Installing and building all the packages required takes a lot of time and a lot of disk space.
About the Speaker
Robert P. J. Day is a long-time Linux consultant and professional trainer, having taught for companies such as Red Hat, Sun, Global Knowledge and Protech Training. Raspberry Pi
Speaker: Clayton SmithLightning talk!
Clayton Smith will tell us about his new Raspberry Pi, the cutest little Linux device since the OLPC! It has HDMI output. Due to VGA on the overhead projector, you may have to crowd around after to see what is on the screen.
Lightning talks are about 5 to 15 minutes short and are usually presented before the main speaker.
