What, everyone does not speak English? What this revelation means for computing and how Linux and open source software have adapted to support users around the world. The speaker will also discuss how you can ensure your scripts and software work for all your users.

Peter has been working with Linux and open source for the past decade. He is currently an engineering manager at Novell working on SUSE Studio and Linux appliances. Having moved to Ottawa three years ago, he is still getting used to the Canadian winters.
Algonquin College is close to the corner of Woodroffe and Baseline and right across from the Baseline transitway station. Room P305 is in Building P. Free parking is available in lots 8, 9 and 12 after 5pm.
