The US price on the 200-500 f2.8 lens is about $24,000, and the price (US)
on the 1200mm monster is (was) $120,000. For that one, you have order it,
which may take up to 18 months (mainly to grow the crystals that size for
the production of the lens elements). They were only making two per year,
and most of it is hand made. Almost worth buying both at that price, isn't
it? You can be sure you would be the only one on the block with those
(probably the only one in town too). :-)
