Again, maybe computersforcommunities.ca might be a good match.

I have opened my garage to house 50 some used computers that volunteers are installing ubuntu ontop of...

Maybe an install fest to crank out these puppies... I am getting comminity centres lined up for some ubuntu computer labs... Already have one LTS Ubuntu box and some PXE clients...

Let me know if there is a potential partnering to pull off...

Oh yhea did I mention we're raising $ for these labs too?

Cheers

One thing that might be a big help for newbies would be to start up an
Ottawa Ubuntu Loco team -- I know this is a linux rather than just Ubuntu
group, but Ubuntu is probably the most newbie friendly distro.

Currently, Canada just has a country-wide loco team, which given the size of
the place is a bit broad ;)

Is there any interest here in starting one up?

John
