I don't need the dual input. I had looked and the PVR-250, which is
probably my best bet. But, I little techno-lust prompted the Hauppage
WinTV-HVR-1800 question.

The techno-lust spread to this when I read your suggestion and looked at
the site. But on second (rational) thought, it really is more than I
need.
PVR-250 it is then.
