[oclug] Repairs

Hi All,

As you know I recently requested a reference to a good PC repair shop.
The reason for this question was that my neighbour, a new arrival from
the US , had a wonky PC. When I plugged it in the power supply fan was
not operating.

We talked a lot about it being 110 or 220 but we confirmed that the
supply was set to 110. I later found out that when they chose components
they selected the cheapest power supply they could get.

So they intend to check out one of the references for repairs - trailing
edge I believe.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Merry Christmas and happy new year.

Cheers,
Garth
