[oclug] No media in drive

Thanks Linux Doctor : I have noticed the same thing exactly : stay with
the same media and it's OK ; change media and there's no media in drive.
Curious to say the least. The only (unsatisfactory) way out is to
reboot : merely logging off and on again doesn't seem to cut it. Didn't
happen with Fedora Core 6 so is it correct to assume that it's the
kernel? I am running 220.127.116.11-65.fc7 so, could it be an error in 2.6.22
regardless of distro?
