[oclug] Desktop size doesn't match monitor resolution

I just got my new Samsung 245BW running over the DVI connection, and I've  
run into a bit of a problem.  While the monitor's OSD indicates that the  
monitor is set to 1920x1200, KDE won't let me set my desktop size greater  
than 1680x1050.  I didn't have any problems with desktop size when I had  
the monitor hooked up via the VGA connection.  Does anyone have any idea  
what the problem is?
