[oclug] Samsung printer problems

Hi Everyone!

Well, I've tried all the suggestions with no result.

Just out of curiosity (i.e. in case I'd done something stupid) I removed
all Samsung's stuff and downloaded the driver afresh. Extracted it as
directed and performed the configuration as instructed. As before, it
checks out the printer OK and it checks out the port OK but that's as
far as it gets : go to do a test print and it just sits there doing
nothing at all : the engine doesn't start and the "On Line" lamp doesn't
flicker.

And, yes, for those who advised checking beforehand, I've learned my
lesson the VERY HARD WAY! 

Perhaps I should alert the Federal Government about false advertising?
