Now now, let's not be hasty... I have a Brother laser that worked well enough
under linux using the hp laserjet 4 driver.  Give that one a try.

If not, I'm running XP so the Samsung will work just fine here.  :)

I've always had printing issues with Linux... generally, it's a real PITA to
get printing working even semi-well enough for occasional use.
