I get my coffee from the Second Cup - "La Minita" brand. Pricey at nearly
$16/lb but man, is it good coffee. I buy the beans (always stored in the
freezer) and grind it rather fine for home brewing (I keep a small airtight
container of grounds in the fridge for the week).
I grind it so fine in fact, that I clogged up my permanent filter (first time
I'd tried it as I normally use paper filters) this morning and sent coffee
and grounds everywhere - what a horrible mess! Tried to clean the coffee
maker but it was kaput. So... new coffee maker for me and yes, I got one
with the conical filter and an insulated carafe. :)
