The diversity of opinions expressed on the General Discussion list is,
apart from its 'community bonding' aspect, its real (to me) value. As
long as one doesn't adopt a 'defend my position at any cost' attitude,
there is a wealth of experience to be drawn on.

I'm particularly encouraged by the maintain-the-faith-and-keep-trying
attitude demonstrated by some members. Tired, jaded folks like myself
need to see that sometimes.

True, it may get heated or simply tedious at times but just often enough
there is something worth hearing.

What a mixed bag we have here.
