I have a script that detects if my internet is down, and uses heyu to
turn off an x10 switch that controls power to the modem.
Yestarday it stopped working,
I tried running heyu from my user account like this
"dana at dunrobin:/home/dana$ /1/linux/x10/heyu.dir/heyu turn a04 off"
The command did not return and CPU went over 90%
I checked all cables, replaced the batteries in the control box and powered off
the computer. After the pc was restarted, the same thing happened. Then I changed
to root and got the following. After that heyu worked find again from my user account
Any idea what the could cause this"

Getting a computer system to work is like banging your head against a brick wall until the wall falls down.
