No. There is a rampant Trojan Horse Virus that has been infecting all
versions of Humour since Humour 1985 called Political Correctness. It
has mutated and changed over the years borrowing from other virii,
worms, etc. such as Bolshevic (a version of Marxist), Radical Feminist,
Bourgois, Decadence and Equality. Infected programmes exhibit wierd
behaviour that often defies logic. Equality, for instance, has
infected all newer versions of Rights making it accept any
data as correct and then modifies its existing data to make it
conform to the new input. Very dangerous.
Programmes that have been targetted by the disease, or their
progenitors, can, with time, loose all credibility and usefulness in the
user community and be abandoned if not checked.
In some cases, when the programme maintenance people are sufficiently
diligent, infected programmes become identified as the authentic version
and destroy the original's reputation causing the original creators to
abandon it. Such an example is Socialist. Versions of Socialist below
1900 or so were actually extremely good and useful programmes. After
the 1900 version it became infected with the Marxist virus and Socialist
became downright evil. Socialist is now indistinguishable from any of
the many virii that are derived from Marxist.
There have been some attempts at controlling these viral menaces, most
notably Right Wing and its derivatives. An entire family of such
programmes, named Ultra Right Wing, has been created in an attempt to
destroy them once and for all, mostly all have failed. Some of these
programmes have been called worse than the disease itself. You may
recall some of their names: McCarthy, Fascist and National Socialist
were the most aggressive versions of Ultra Right Wing released. National
Socialist especially, which attempted to reclaim Socialist's good name,
somehow managed to be able to destroy the host computer in the process.
Hopefully, some day a version of Humour will be released that is immune
from Political Correctness and whatever form it may mutate into. It
would be a shame to have to abandon humour entirely because of
the destructive criminal motives of those who created these virii in the
first place.

PS. This message will break the thread, and I apologise. I'm having sympatico
mail server problems today for some reason and I'm forced to use the web mail
interface to my mail account to send this. Sorry.
