Check the outbound address of the box, the one Rogers gave it. Is it
a 192.168.* address, or a 24.* address?
The former would indicate that the modem is in 'connection sharing'
mode. If you already have a routing box, you don't want this.
Mine dropped into that annoying mode today when I restarted it while
the network was offline, proving that even in the "reboot early,
reboot often" consumer world, rebooting sometimes creates more
problems than it solves. ;)
