Yes.  Check the netmasks in your routing table on 192.168.1.254.  It may 
be considering 192/8 to be local.  It should ideally only be considering 
192.168.1/24 as local (unless you have other subnets in use as well).

BTW, RTC1918 recommands choosing the subnet under 192.168/16 randomly.  
The nets 192.168.0/24 & 192.168.1/24 are seriously over used.  This is ok 
of course, until you try to create a VPN with someone and have to 
renumber...
