I'm not debating anything.  I was pointing out how I thought you were
barking up the wrong tree.

It seemed to me that the original statement was "Not many can do their
work and write books", to which you responded "I've seen plenty who
can explain what they do", but which (I felt) did not address the
original point.

I don't know a thing about the field, nor do I really mind or care.
I was just pointing out what I felt was a logical gap.  That is all.
