To make that message go away ( :-) ) and also clean up any corruption,
you need to run fsck on that filesystem. But the last time I had similar
errors my disk had overheated and died a slow and painful death -
actually this has happened twice[0] on home boxen so far.

[0] A good reason to keep two copies of email - when one set of blocks
goes bad where a mail folder used to live.
