GRUB doesn't care how it gets booted. You can burn the GRUB files to a
CDROM; but, it's more awkward to update the menu.lst file when you move
things around on the hard disk... :-) Lucky for you, GRUB has a
reasonable command-line edit capability that lets you tweak an incorrect
menu.lst file and make it do what you want.
