I'm not sure exactly when I started but what I know is that it was a
0.9x version, definitely before 1.0 and it might been 0.1x.
What I know for sure is that I managed to ge my hands on a pile of
floppies (Slackware 1.0???) and tried to install it on my system but my
scsi card (adaptec 1740?) wasn't supported. I short while later next
version came out and now my card worked so I installed it.
Based on this knowledge I did dive a little on ftp.funet.fi and found
that Linux version 0.95 was out March 7, 1992 and 1.0.0 was out March 13
1994 which puts my linux start somewhere in between.
