I'll have your certificate ready at the next meeting as the most persistent
downloader in the world.  I think Richard Briggs wins the oldest install.

Mine would be '97; I downloaded Slackware through the National Capital
Freenet on a 2400 baud modem.  I believe it took me over a month of solid
downloading to get all the packages, and than I had some fun installing them
on my 486.

Mine was Red Hat 5.1 on a 586. circa 2000-2001.
