[oclug] Can MS kill Linux?

When I read the article, this part made me laugh out loud:
"... I heard about a secret project. It concerned the development of a
version of Linux that runs smoothly as a task under Windows."
have a look at cygwin.com (or x.cygwin.com).. also... waay back..
slackware could install in a fat partition along side a windows 95
system and all you had to do was copy vmlinuz to linux.exe, run it and
POOF!.. windows disappears to show the dmesg of the linux boot up.
(or maybe windows 3.1... I don't remember)
I didn't bother checking google, but I'm sure there are several other
projects that I haven't heard of either.
