On the face of it, that seems reasonable.  I doubt that you will find 
many to disagree with it, excepting unusual, extreme cases.

Most disagreements spring up when "you" then claim nobody else should be 
permitted to make "something" similar, or when "you" fence off the 
greenest section of the village common.
