Subject: OCLUG's Funeral

I wish to give to give my condolences to OCLUG on the 'election' of the
the new board.

With few exceptions, the candidates platforms for the board had a
platform of "I really don't have any new ideas." Of those who lost,
almost all of them were the ones proposing real changes as opposed to
the "I think things are OK groups"

For me what was disappointing was the small turnout. Here I was
complaining about how OCLUG was not delivering on it's original message
and only two of the almost two dozen people who over the years
complained to me that OCLUG was heading in the wrong direcion even
bothered to show up.

On the upside, we've got a number of first time political
newbies on the board. Hopefully they are not currently part of, or will
become a member of, the 'clique' that is currently destroying OCLUG. I
wish them very sincere good wishes. I also hope that they will be open
to new ideas, contrary to boards of the past.

I never really expected to win. I had hoped that by my merely
being a candate things would change. I reckognize that my controvercial
behavour would automatically disqualify me. In fact, I had intended
to withdraw long before election day.

What surprised me was the the way the 'clique' changed the rules by
reducing the size of the board. I expected dirty tricks, but I
didn't expect that. That forced me to continue to run until the end, and
to show, once and for all, that OCLUG rejects the Linux Doctor and Dr.
Francis Pinteric along with it.

That I don't mind, as I had expected to withdraw from OCLUG
eventually anyway. But there is a substantial lie sitting
in OCLUG's vaults, and it is based on the false philosphy of the
philosophically corrupt (previously known as"political correctness")
that I am a racist.

This false perception, based on lies, will change. I hereby propose
to the new board that they withdraw the lies, and in addition they take
measures to prevent "political correctness" in the future.

I had in the past threatened to sue OCLUG over the lie, and that threat
still remains. Until now, the very charge itself had served to benefit
me, but over the long term, may serve to harm me.

I recognize that at the time emotions were high and that false
perceptions were allowed to give sway. The board at the time made a
severe and dangerous decision exposing itself to litigation by endorcing
a lie.

Had I been elected to the board, I would have vacted the suit after a
withdrawal of the false alegations.

Now the rules have changed

The "political left" is called that because most of
what they stand for is way out in left field.
As for the "political right", it is rare that you
find a group of people so consistently wrong about
everything. They should be sued for misrepresentation
in their use of the word `right'.
