Did you extract the firmware from off the Windows CD?
That's what I missed the first time around, I found out after I did a
complete wipe and re-install.
You should have the following files:
/lib/modules/ivtv-fw-dec.bin
/lib/modules/ivtv-fw-enc.bin

Other than that tell us of any errors when you try to load the module.
