The November issue of'First Monday' (a peer-reviewed online journal) has
several papers which may be of interest to the Open Source community:

"FLOSS At Large: Selected papers from the FLOSS workshop at 4SEASST
joint conference, Paris, 25-28 August 2004

Free/libre open source software (FLOSS) has emerged as an important
phenomenon. Seven papers in this special issue examine the FLOSS
community and how innovation, cooperation, and trust develop in this
exceedingly diverse group."

The October issue has the following:
Protecting ourselves to death: Canada, copyright, and the Internet
by Laura J. Murray

I'm not trying to start a discussion/thread on these subjects, just
drawing attention to the papers, and wondering if anyone knows of
similar sites (i.e. serious, scholarly sites focused on Linux/Open
source or Internet/WWW studies and which require proper footnoting and
reference links).

Thanks in advance.
