Wow, you're lucky. The machine I'm on now seems to have a super-duper
xclock -- it's got transparent anti-aliased clock hands and I guess
that means I waste 6MB instead:

$ cat /proc/`ps ax | grep xclock | cut -d' ' -f 1`/status | grep ^Vm
VmSize:     6084 kB
VmLck:         0 kB
VmRSS:      2572 kB
VmData:      496 kB
VmStk:      1256 kB
VmExe:        48 kB
VmLib:      4048 kB

Why xclock needs 1.25 MB of stack, I have no idea.

Dave
