Oh lord, I remember those days.  The last time I LIKED developing in a
Window based GUI, it was Macintosh System 6.  Everything developed since
then on any platform has been successive layers of lurg(1).

(1) Lurg - noun.  Opposite of Scunge.  Scunge is the stuff that forms at
the top a sink load of soaking dishes in a university student's kitchen
after a few weeks.  Lurg is the stuff that leeches out of the scunge, and
gathers at the bottom of the sink.  It tends to form in layers.
