Newbies feel that every time one of them attends an OCLUG meeting and
listens to a tech talk. OCLUG meetings do not well cater to people who
are new to Linux and need very basic Linux information.
I have suggested that OCLUG meetings be split to "accommodate the newbies
entering the Linux world"; because, I think it's inconsiderate to invite
the general public to a Linux meeting and then talk over their heads
for two hours about things that aren't relevant to them.
Like Toronto, I think we could have both kinds of meetings here.
If not, I would prefer if the current meetings were billed as "Linux
enthusiasts only" so that new people know what to expect.
