Ah, okay, so the way the *list is run* is contrary to the Founding
Principles. I see now.

According to both the Principles and the List Etiquette pages, the
enforcing of a technical bias is definitely incorrect. Both are vague
on exclusiveness (the former more than the latter), but are specific
enough in their inclusiveness.

The 'Topics' section reads "subjects relating to Linux, UNIX/GNU
software development, Free and Open Source software applications that
run on Linux, and the like". This does not say 'technical' to me.

On that very same page, the only StN ratio item is regarding trimming
extraneous content from quoted replies. If anyone is taking *this*
item to mean 'technical to <x> ratio', that's wrong too.

If there's a large enough group that only wants to hear about kernel
timing issues, I suggest they speak up so we can create a linux-kernel
mailing list? ;)
