There is more to playing a streaming movie file, at times, than just the
url. Mplayer-plugin is supposed to take care of cookies and
session variable that you won't get with a simple url. That being said,
someone else said it worked fine.. therefore your mplayer install is
screwed. Try re-installing the codecs, and if that doesn't work try
finding the newest version of mplayer. The version you have is ancient.
