Oh I don't know, IBM "Needed " windows 95 to meet customer
requests. was it too much that in order to sell it, they had to
drop selling their own OS...
I would love to see someone from MS try to explain how their "shared
Source" project relates to real Open source. Too bad that someone like
Dan Achroid couldent help ask the questions.
REmber that they have recently launched at least one Tool as "real" open
source -- on sourceforge even, so you can't say they NEVER open source
anything. (if the world whifts overninght, they can say "we have been
doing it for a while now",...
