OK.  It looks like we pretty much agree on almost everything -- close 
enough for government work, anyway.

The only issue I see with outstanding major differences is here :

As a survivor of marketing, you know that perception is everything.

Judging by their reactions, some people don't see you as challenging 
their uses of the word, "reliable", so much as attacking their opinions 
of IStop and even their selves.

Perhaps, a succinct definition of "reliable" would lay peoples' 
apprehensions to rest?
