Wrt to the later point only. If you really want to do this then be smart and
do it all yourself, Once complete then announce it in the appropriate forums
locally and nationally. A group of two or three could be helpful, possibly if
folks are committed. Otherwise it ends up in endless and useless discussions
that are completely unproductive. So if time is a critical element in your
decision matrix then pick the fastest time line and appropriate method to
market.
Organizations to consider worth approaching to put it together once you have
done your part is lpi.org, possibly IBM and or Novell.
