I've bought various parts from Deals Direct (RAM, video card, USB memory
key).  I haven't had any problems with these items so far (the RAM was
bought a couple of years ago) and have found the staff competent.
In terms of service though, since I'm only buying parts, I'm under the
manufacturers warranty and not the store's service policy (whatever it
may be).
