I think many places have stopped carrying Linux distro CDs just because
there isn't that much of a demand for them.  Many people have fast
Internet connections and CD-Writers, or know other people who do.
Others just order from a website.

It's a tough thing for stores to stock as well.  If a newer version
comes out every 6 months, the old ones become instantly worthless and
very difficult to sell.

I personally bought Red Hat 5.0 online, and Red Hat Powertools 5.1 at
that computer store in Merivale Mall that was around back in '98.  Since
then, I always got copies from other people or downloaded them myself.

My suggestion is that you post to this list a list of the exact distros
you want, and perhaps someone here can burn you a copy.

Note:  Several major Linux distros don't have downloadable ISOs, so you
won't be able to get a "cheap" CD version of them easily.
