Vic or anyone else. I wonder about the debian 2.1 distro. It seems only
one US archive is on line. I was thinking of downloading the whole thing
piece by piece but maybe someone can find the CD's for this distro. I
would like a disk set or a pointer to the ftp site where I can download
the iso. Like much software the older versions although insecure are
worth having to refurbish older machines that can't run the newer
versions. Thus saving some machines from the landfill.
That said a fellow donated an old pentium1 IBM 350 to me for a Linux
machine for a low income friend.. The friend doesn't seem to want it
now. I got RH 9 installed right now. I will throw in a 15" IBM monitor
and USB three button mouse and anyone can have the whole system for 30$
just to cover some of my monitor and mouse costs.. It will connect to a
high speed connection btw.
sorry if offers for sale are not proper netiquette here.
