it is.  and its not only from the keyservers, but whois listings, google 
searches, viruses on your friends computers, randomly generated names to a 
known domain, headers and body picked up from a google search of mailing 
list archives... ;)

the only way to prevent spam is to stop giving out your email - which 
kinda defeats the purpose.
so... get used to it.  and install SpamAssassin or dSpam or whatever :)
