Corduality is pronounced in your assessment of motive. The timing here is what 
is important. Novel/IBM/SuSE/Ximian get there act together 
(questionably..results to be determined) with respect to a potential combined 
and integrated corp quality desktop and server play and the leading 
competitor's head honcho recommends Windows...:) 

Sad to see the corduality of the past between OSS players no longer exists.
