I was just about to send this, when I read the above.

In a recent Cnet article, Microsoft, Google may go head-to-head
(http://news.com.com/2009-1032_3-1020641.html?tag=fd_lede1_hed),

There is a mention of vision.  As we are well aware you can sell a vision
long before it becomes a reality.
Because of the open development model we support does the linux community
have a vision?
