So perhaps Bruce does have the best claim to this form after
all? Maybe. At any rate, I think I prefer his 2001 version:

There is no intuitive interface, not even the nipple. It's all learned.

... since this is apparently true.  According to The Internet (So
It Must Be True), babies have a suckling reflex, but if they're held
wrongly or the mother's nipple isn't compatible with the baby's mouth,
they may not learn the trick.
