Sure, pretty much what you said.
Thing was, unless you read the board list every day, you wouldn't know
that this guy wasn't spamming. You wouldn't know he politely asked. I
was about to report him to his ISP.
My comments about the way to handle an out of town advertisers (with
approval) are meant to address this. After all, the OCLUG board list
isn't read by members, generally. If it was, it would be part of the
OCLUG general list ;)
