Arbeit macht frei (roughly, "work frees") was the message inscribed on the
gates of several concentration camps.  The other phrase was a racist
propaganda slogan of the same time period.

That's why we don't want to draw that kind of parallel.  There are many
other more socially acceptable ways to instill a sense of revolution in
people, without upsetting the moral applecart.
