Well... if you could see all the processes you'd have to
rename it to "all", wouldn't you :-)
I guess filtering out by user or re-ordering the processes by some
other criterion (which puts the "interesting" processes at the
top) doesn't suit your needs?
Then you can try a graphical top, which puts the output in a
scrollable text box might be what you need. I've seen one
but I don't remember its name (perhaps gtop? ktop?).
