Hey - as a spin off question - prompted by this from Rod > I run Linux SMP kernels so I'd be directly affected I have seen single processor servers running SMP kernels which I thought were for multiprocessors. Why would you do that? Is there any advantage/disadvantage to using the SMP kernel for single processors? Brian
