for me, it's a matter of how much i care. some people do it as a style
thing (and in fact it is somewhat quicker if you don't have to reach
for the shift key). yeah, sometimes i'm lazy. i don't personally find
it too much harder to read when other people do it -- certainly not
as bad as people who fail to paragraph properly or fail to wrap before
80 characters.
at the end of the day, it's just a mailng list. typos, bad grammar, etc
can't really be legislated away.
