[oclug] The picnic

I enjoyed meeting you all at the picnic... I've had the pleasure of using several early versions of Mandrake and I have been anxiously awaiting for growth from the driver base and to expand my knowledge of how to competantly install them without crashing the kernel...:) I wish I had a camera to photograph you all huddled under that tarp when the downpour began... certainly half the fun of the picnic was trying to figure out a way to stay dry, just as half the fun of using Linux is getting all the devices to work harmoniously..:) My kids miss the peguin game where the penguin is sliding down the hill... anybody know where I might be able to downbload it? I was the fellow at the table beside you who was tying my canopy with string to the tree branches to fend off the rain. Necessity is the mother of invention, and I hope that this transferrable skill will see me through a successful installation of Linux some day..
