I don't think you can blame Sylpheed since the token substitution should
be done (and done carefully) by konq.  I saw something recently about a
KDE bug, but I'm not sure it applies to 3.1.  E.g. the only thing I can
see at the moment is http://www.willamowius.de/kde_email.html
