This was based on changelogs.  I don't think it is exhaustive.

I'm most keen to try out the new scheduler which will be great both for
workstations & servers.  There was talk of a modular scheduler design
which would allow new schedulers to be loaded into the kernel as modules.
Not sure if that made it in as standard but patches (produced by IBM and
others) are available.
